I'm watching this Zidane clip here and I'm screaming all by myself, teary-eyed! This is the MAESTRO. I mean, Messi is an Extra-terrestrial, Ronaldinho was a Wizard, Pele is FIFA's greatest ever, Maradona was a Demi-god, Christiano Ronaldo is Next-best-thing-after-Messi; I have no appropriate word to desccribe Zinedine 'Zizou' Zidane.
He carries the ball magnetized to his feet; he twists and turns like a cobra; the ball moves with him like planet Earth on its orbit; he goes through defenders like hot knife through butter; he mesmerizes on the field like a ballerina on stage; he has absolute control of the playing field like a Field Marshal commanding his troops.
He makes soccer beautiful to watch, not only a science, but an exquisite art. What makes him so special is that he was consistently in form doling out incredible moves! What do you think?
