The renowned evangelist and Founder, World Soul Winning Evangelical Ministry (WOSEM), Prophet Timothy Obadare, was laid to rest at 11am in a mausoleum at the headquarters of WOSEM, Ileki area of Ilesa, Osun State on Saturday. RIP.
Ilesa literally stood still for several hours as dignitaries from all walks of life converged to pay their last respect to the preacher noted for his frankness and uprightness.
Many members of his church, admirers and sympathisers meandered their ways to the revival ground on foot because of traffic gridlock.
Speaking at the burial ground, Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola, described the departed cleric as a symbol of truth and spirituality, adding that Obadare rose beyond visual disability to etch his name in gold.
A preacher, Bishop Sam Thompson, said an endowment for the establishment of a television station would be established in the memory of the departed evangelist, adding that the proposed television station would air Obadare’s teachings.
