According to impeccable sources, award-winning artiste, Oluwatobi Wande Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal has quit Don Jazzy's Mavin Records. Wande is said to have quietly left Mavin Records and the two parties involved have agreed not to make noise about it.
Wande Coal released a single ‘Kilaju’ recently under his own record label, Black Diamond Entertainment. His 2 previous singles ‘The Kick’ and ‘Rotate’ were released under Marvin Records.
Wande has moved on and has started his own record label, Black Diamond Entertainment. He has also changed his twitter bio to his new label name and nothing referring to his former label, Mavin Records. But as yet, there is no official statement from him.
Mavin Records was founded barely a year ago after the crisis that rocked Mo’Hits records led to the split of Don Jazzy and D'Banj. Other artistes on the label are Tiwa Savage, D’Prince and Dr Sid.
