Half of a Yellow Sun- Trailer

This is a film you definitely need to see when officially released. The trailer leaves you gasping for more. It is a film adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie‘s award-winning novel- Half of a Yellow Sun; screenplay was written by Biyi Bandele, who also directed the film.

This is a drama that brings together the lives of 4 people during the struggle to establish an independent nation, Nigeria.

The film has a star cast including:  Chiwetel Ejiofor, Thandie Newton, Hakeem Kae-Kazim, Genevieve Nnaji, Zack Orji and Onyeka Onwenu.

The film has been selected and will show at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival and will open the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in November 2013.
