We cannot but have the video of Malala's speech on 9jaFlave. This July 12 Malala Day Speech in years to come will become a reference point, a rallying point for hope in the world. An echoing voice for women's right, children's right and quality education.
We predict, it will go down in history as one of the greatest speeches ever delivered, just like: Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg address, Winston Churchill's 'blood, toil, tears and sweat' speech, Martin Luther King Jr's 'I have a dream' speech and Nelson Mandela's speech at the Rivonia trials.
NOBEL Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, on 14th July asked the federal and state governments in Nigeria to obtain the speech of Malala and make it available to all libraries, schools and archives, to serve as reference point for upcoming generations.
Even more than that, we should not wait for the government to propagate this beautiful address. We have the responsibility to do it ourselves!
